Working closely with UBHT we have a full-time Maternity Support Worker, Penny Russell. 

Penny’s role is to provide enhanced ante-natal care to help you to have a happy healthy pregnancy and birth.
 

By both working alongside the Midwives at William Budd health centre and also having a base in the children’s centre, Penny has a wealth of information about what’s available for you and your family and can support you on issues such as;

• Breast Feeding.

• Services and support for young mothers

• Reducing or giving up Smoking

• Domestic Violence

• Healthy living issues such as diet, exercise

• Where to get advice on housing or benefits.
