Barnardo's Bristol South Community Family Worker service.

Children's charity Barnardo's South West, in partnership with Bristol City Council Children's Centres, is delivering a home visiting service for families with young children.
It provides advice and support on parenting issues and aims to help parents and young people get the most out of their lives together.
It works with families to make sure parents are supported and that children are cared for as well as possible.

It supports families in their homes to;

• Increase parents' confidence

• Help parents feel part of their own community

• Work with parents so that children have enjoyable experiences

• Help parents to engage with their children's learning

There's a large team of Community Family Workers working across South Bristol with 4 currently based at footprints.

Referrals are welcome from agencies who work with families and from families themselves.
